The coordinator will work closely with nursing faculty to maximize simulation training.
The coordinator will utilize knowledge and technology to maximize effective training to help enhance student/patient safety and improve clinical outcomes in the healthcare education environment.
The right candidate must be a highly motivated and organized individual, who can handle a variety of sensitive matters in a professional, mature, and discrete manner.

Essential Functions:
Manage and Support the Sim Center and Skills Lab for high, medium and low fidelity manikins.
Direct experience with Laerdal products a plus Collaborate with nursing faculty and leadership to develop simulation based training programs that align with specific learning objectives and requirements.
Perform periodic maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting to ensure the full functionality of all simulation center equipment, including related multimedia devices.
Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in simulation technology and healthcare education.
Provide the most relevant and effective solutions to faculty and students.
Resolve issues for audio, video recording, and equipment in the simulation control room Ensure laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies are maintained and replenished as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required:
preferably in science, education orhealth-related field 2
years experience in healthcare simulation preferred.
Experience utilizing the Laerdal simulator software preferred.
Experience and strong technical skills in operating and troubleshooting simulation, clinical and audio/visual equipment.
Knowledge of patient simulation services, technologies, and applications Proficiency in MS Office Suite Experience coordinating educational activities and programs.
$65,000 - $72,000 yearly (Salary is based on EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE.
