Dir Labor & Delivery - Community Health Systems (Barstow, CA)
Responsible for the L&D department.
This is a working manager position and must be able to do all of the functions of an L&D nurse along with the management responsibilities such as scheduling, hiring, and managing employees.
Qualifications Desirable characteristics include at least 3-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in the Obstetrics / L&D / Newborn specialty.
Must have leadership qualities and exposure to supervisory skills.
Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress.
Current California license as a Registered Nurse.
Must obtain and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Must have Basic Fetal Monitoring and update every two years.
BSN preferred.
