Fiber to the Home Technician Fiber to the Home Technician Inland Empire, CA Full-Time (W2) and Contract (1099) Positions Available Job
Summary:
We are seeking experienced Fiber to the Home Technicians to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fiber optic installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with a preference for those who have worked with Frontier Communications.
Both W2 and 1099 contracting options are available.
Key
Responsibilities:
1.
Install, splice, and terminate fiber optic cables to deliver high-speed internet and television services to residential customers.
2.
Perform fiber optic testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure network reliability.
3.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.
4.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in various outdoor and indoor environments.
5.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
6.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
7.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to fiber optics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Fiber to the Home Technician.
- Familiarity with Frontier Communications infrastructure is a plus.
- Knowledge of fiber optic installation techniques and equipment.
- Ability to operate fiber optic testing equipment and interpret test results.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
