Performing spiritual services such as praying with patients and their families.
Helping patients explore their feelings about dying and addressing concerns about pain or suffering.
Providing support to patients who are experiencing anxiety or depression.
Coordinating with medical staff to ensure that patients receive appropriate care Providing information to patients and families about end of life issues such as pain management, hospice care, and advance directives.
A chaplain is responsible for providing spiritual guidance to medical patients and their families, or a variety of faiths and religious belief systems.
A chaplain is also responsible for counselling patients and family members by advising them and guiding them spiritually.
Attend and participate in IDT meetings.
