We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Working Construction Estimator.
This is a great opportunity to grow with our firm.
Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and experience in construction - residential a must and commercial experience a plus.
Our firm has a B (General Contractor's) license and works on all kinds of jobs including Insurance Restoration, both residential and commercial properties.
Part of your daily responsibility will be Estimating Potential Construction Projects, submitting to insurance companies, follow up on requests from insurance company programs to obtain approvals and uploading of data as well as pictures.
Estimating software Xactimate is a plus as well as able to read and work from plans.
Working with Insurance Company personnel is also a plus, You will also be assisting in the production department with estimating for customer changes, supplemental billings, performing job walks, progress billings as well working directly with this department on ongoing projects.
-2 years minimum experience - please include the trades you're proficient at -Work throughout the Inland Empire, Local Mountain Areas, High Desert, Low Deserts, Orange and North-Eastern Los Angeles County.
-Speak with some suppliers to source materials at best price and track job expenses -Read plans and interact with architects and inspectors as needed -Dress professionally -Communicate professionally -Take direct instructions and follow through -Must be able to multi-task and thrive in a very busy work environment -Must be good with clients.
-Computer proficient in Xactimate or other Estimating software a
-Must have current Driver's License, a clean record and a copy of your driving record is required -Must be able to pass a background check - Able to speak Spanish is a big plus Job Type:
