Our role is to support efforts to bring relevancy and real-world experience to students in California through growing the quantity and quality of work-based learning, with an emphasis on registered apprenticeship, but also includes job shadowing, classroom presentations, internships, and other job training opportunities.
What You'll Do The Foundation's Collaborative Impact Department, through the LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network, seeks a Coordinator to play a critical role in the department's success by applying deep project management skills with a thorough attention to detail to ensure high-quality design and delivery of specific registered apprenticeship and work-based learning programs.
This position represents an exciting opportunity to help to provide a wide range of administrative and operational support working with multiple educational institutions, industry employers, government agencies, funders, and more.
The coordinator's support will help with initiatives that focus on the expansion of new and innovative pre-apprenticeships and registered apprenticeships as pathways for low-wage workers to secure middle-skill jobs in California and addressing racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic disparities in the labor market.
What You Bring Promote smooth and efficient registered apprenticeship program implementation and development by collaborating cross-functionally across departments.
Coordinate communication among associations, stakeholders, and team members to foster collaboration and connections between partners.
Liaise directly with partners on various regional programs or projects.
Manage and maintain multiple databases to keep departmental and apprenticeship data up to date.
Seek out opportunities to improve departmental processes, programs, and projects.
Process incoming and outgoing correspondence for the department and keep Management updated accordingly.
Compile information for the timely preparation of reports and distribute to appropriate individuals, committees, or stakeholders within established timelines.
Maintain accurate filing systems with the highest regard for confidentiality.
Provide meeting and conference logistical support, including scheduling, agenda, and the recording and distribution of minutes.
Assist with accounts payable by processing invoices, interacting with partners and vendors regarding invoice questions, and maintaining financial records.
Provide other general administrative support to LAUNCH staff A self-starter and quick learner who is highly motivated and outcome-oriented, always seeking innovative approaches to project execution.
Practices ownership, takes accountability, and has the ability to manage own work, prioritize tasks, and deliver quality products on time with limited supervision.
Ability to work on a fast-paced team and build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
