Company Description Job Description We are a well-known and highly successful organization specializing in cold-pressed fresh fruit juices and fruit smoothies.
We are in the process of expanding our production and distribution to larger markets and to our International Retail umbrella stores, and we re excited to have a newly created position available.
We re looking to hire an experienced Senior Buyer who will contribute to our success by developing and leading produce sourcing strategies, while effectively managing suppliers and internal networks.
In this position, the Senior Buyer will collaborate regularly with our team and with our suppliers, while developing effective negotiation strategies to further our growth.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop and Lead Sourcing Strategies Supplier Engagement and Management Cross-Functional Projects Leadership and Teamwork Requirements:
At least 5 years experience in planning, procurement, supply chain or other relevant experience
Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of market analysis, sourcing category strategy, supplier relationship management and negotiations, supplier continuous improvement programs/Lean Initiatives Knowledge of critical procurement legal requirements and contracting best practices Ability to influence at an Executive Level both internally and externally Ability to lead and influence peer groups both internally and externally Skills:
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral Excellent analytical skills Knowledge of Excel, Oracle, Business Intelligence Apps, charting programs, PowerPoint, and others Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
