Technical Writer / Trainer - 10 month contract - 36/hr Start Date:

12/30/14 Scope of the project:
Assist in the development of policy and procedure and training materials related to the implementation of ICD-10 coding.
Technical writer / trainer will develop materials suitable for stand-up and remote tele-presence trainer with end-users.
Should have experience in a health care setting (claims administration preferred) and able to:
Present complex process information to experienced end-users Take question related to the process and either answer or work with others to determine the answer in a timely manner Requirements:
Appropriate working and presentation experience in a classroom setting with the appropriate certifications that demonstrate an understanding of technology requirements Expert Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio) and Captivate 5 and higher to capture and develop interactive simulations/ demonstrations.
Excellent probing and interview skills with an ability to read audiences to check for understanding.
Experience working in a health care environment (claims processing or high volume transaction desired) Excellent oral (large audience presentation) and written skills (leveraging adult learning theory) Approachable, extremely patient and focused on customer with a willingness to adapt to different target audiences Attention to detail yet creative and influential Top daily
Responsibilities:
Collaboration with ICD-10 program management on the development of time sensitive training documentation deliverables Recording of Captivate training sessions (oral and graphic) Reviewing documentation with target audience and modifying for effective large scale use Source:
